There is no sleep for the VOID and Aquarium boys after months of massive shows. Whilst ZED BIAS' stellar performance is still fresh in our minds we are already on the case and in planning for the special producer and DJ on the international Dubstep and Grime scene, straight outta Brixton, London - COTTI.After doubling the sound for the LOEFAH show a couple months ago, there is no going back. Expect those bass bins to rattle your insides after the bass pressure of COTTI hits you. Already acclaimed as classics, tunes like Calm Down, Rise the Temperature and Sensi Dub are recognisable across many scenes. This guy is something else. After starting in UKG and Grime, COTTI incorporates all those elements into a distinct dancefloor style of Dubstep that will make anybody move. Your probably bored of hearing it but another not to be missed!



We are shaking up the line up again to keep it fresh. The regulars you have come to know and love are there in full force, Mark Pritchard, Victim and Garage Pressure hold things steady with Lorna, Typhonic and Saba keeping everyone on their toes. We welcome the infamous Ozi Batla to VOID format with his amazing vocal styles...

Cotti

Richard Bowes [aka Cotti] is a producer, DJ, and MC hailing from Brixton, South London. As well as the co-founder (along with partner Cluekid) of '-30 Records', he also manages his own imprint, 'Bassface Recordings'.Cotti has been immersed in the London Scene from a young age initially writing lyrics & Dj-ing then eventually moving through and focusing on vocalist & music production.

Throughout 2007 Cotti became one of the movements most sought after DJ/producers, with his tracks 'Sensi Dub' & 'I Don't Give a Dub' recorded as the biggest selling dubstep releases of 2007, not to mention 'The Legacy', and 'Mozart 3000' becoming bass rider anthems in their own right. The first half of 2008 has seen his productions gain support from all the big name DJ's on the circuit. Thanks to the encouragement of Mary Anne Hobbs [BBC Radio 1] Cotti's productions ‘Let Go Mi Shirt & ˜The Search were both Breezeblock bombs and eventually went on to full releases on Soul Jazz Recordings. 2008 has also seen the release of the long awaited collaboration with Doctor, namely "Calm Down", a track that has pushed the creative boundaries of the sound, with its original vocal production & the technique of blending dubstep, grime, dub, and dancehall into a single track.

At present Cotti is regularly Dj-ing at London's infamous club FWD and the almighty DMZ parties. His sets have been witnessed all over Europe & the United States and without doubt are straight up to date with a quality selection of dubs from the finest producers. Cotti’s forthcoming collaborations as well the signing of big name vocalists are set to move Bassface & -30 Recordings to a fertile musical ground that's a reflection of Cotti as an artist, A&R ear, and all round bass addict.
